Neerja movie is a biographic thriller which was directed by Ram Madhvani and was released on 2016. The main cast of the film are Sonam Kapoor and Shabana Azmi. The movie is based on a real life incident of plane hijack of Pan Am 73, on september 5, 1986. It depicts the braveness of Neerja Bhanot who was the flight's head purser and the who saved 359 passengers out of 379 and sacrificed her life while saving other passengers life. Neerja Bhanot  a 22 year old woman and a divorcee was a flight attendant in Pan Am 73. This flight starts from Bombay and lands at New York and with scheduled stops at Karachi, Pakistan and Frankfurt, West Germany. Abu Nidal organisation, a terrorist group, plans to hijack the plane at Karachi. The four terrorists of the organisation disguised themselves as security officers and enters the plane landed in Karachi. Neerja immediately warned pilots of hijack so that they can escape from the cockpit. Before the terrorists could realise the cockpit is upstairs the pilots escaped so that terrorists can't force them land the plane some where else. After 17 hours of hijack, the plane loses power and the lights go off. The terrorists assume that the Pakistanis have knowingly cut the power and in panic they started shooting everywhere. While all passengers were in panic, Neerja who instead of being panic, immediately opened the emergency exit of the plane. She rescued passenger and sent them out of plane without the knowledge of terrorist . She even sent her colleagues out of the plane through emergency exit. When she was about to leave the plane thinking that no passenger was left, she realised that three children were left in the plane. Then she went and rescued those three children and was about to send them out of the place , a terrorist saw them was about to shoot them. When he shot the bullets Neerja stood as wall in front of those children and protected them. The bullet hits Neerja but still she was successful in sending those children out. Then she dragged herself and came out rolling. She was taken in ambulance but she lost her life. The movie ends with a emotional speech given by her mother. Neerja was honoured by Ashoka Chakra award, Tamgha-e-Pakistan for showing human kindness, Bharat Gaurav award and many more awards. Neerja Bhanot died two days before her birthday. She was born on 7 september 1963 and died on 5 september 1986. She is the best example for bravery and human kindness.

ONE ACT MOVIE This article is going to be about my experience on watching a movie that had all that a movie should have- hero, heroine, villain,story, jokes, emotions, dialogues, but with something really unique, the whole movie had only one person in it!
