MY FAVORITE- OLD MOVIES
It might be surprising, but I would confidently say that I love old movies than the new movies releasing now a days.
To be specific, I love the movies of the 1980's and 90's. It is my personal opinion to call the movies of those times the best of all the movies I have seen. Movies like, 'Kuch kuch hota hai',' Mouna raagam', 'Punagai mannan' are few of my favorites from that time. I believe, those movies had a unique charm and graze that could easily attract the audience to watch them. The movies had very good stories in them and I am in particular, a fan of the songs of the movies. There are hundreds of songs that I remember with amazing lyrics, tune, and picturizations.
It was surely because of my mother that I experienced these visual treats.I watched most of the old movies during the 10th and 12th board examination study holidays ! Our school used to give the whole of February as study holidays and I used to watch these movies during the break I took in the afternoons. During weekdays, in the afternoon times, only these kinds of movies were aired and as I had nothing to watch, I would sit with my mom and watch them. Slowly, I became a fan of these movies. I also watched much older movies from the late 60's and 70's during that time and they were all very appealing to watch.
Many of my cousins tease me for sitting and watching black and white movies, but as a matter of fact, I really like them a lot. I would not say all the latest movies are boring and I would not watch them, but given a choice I would love to watch the older movies.
