COMPARISON BETWEEN OLD AND NEW CARTOON MOVIES
Disney's live-action remakes already, like "Alice in wonderland," "Beauty and the Beast," and "cinderella." the biggest changes Disney made when turning its animated classics into live-action blockbusters.
The Beauty and the Beast is a tale as old as time.Prince gets turned into monster by enchantress, meet beauty, they fall in love, the curse is lifted.And like any classic tale, it's been defined by Disney; the studio 1991 animation is far and away the most famous adaption of the the French fairy tale.Animation is a different form to live-action and storytelling thus needs to be approached differently, especially when it comes to pacing and length of sequences.Comparing the old movie the new movie has extended time and included different songs in the movie.
One of the biggest changes is that many pivotal scenes from the animated version that focused on the lions faces were shot from behind, since photo-realistic lions can't emote as much.
Since the animated movie was just that-animated- the writers and animators were at liberty to include colours, expressions and more human-like behaviour that would be harder to achieve in the real savanna.
Disney's Aladdin is a timeless, animated classic.Aladdin's songs,cast and characters, especially Robin Williams as the Genie, made it the grossing movie of 1992.Disney has updated Aladdin for the 21st century, adding in new characters and new songs, and making changes to existing characters
