COMPARISON BETWEEN OLD MOVIES AND NEW MOVIES
I had this comparison running in my mind. I have watched many movies in Tamil and English language. I always enjoyed watching movies where the story takes place, cast, music or songs, especially the time it was made. Hence i can give you three differences between old and new movies.
Actors who acted in old movies were stage actors previously in their career. In stage play you need to act more than naturally means to talk loudly, clearly to make it audible for the audience but not over acting. But in present movies, where many actors emerged into cinema without performing in stage plays but some of them learnt from acting schools. This is the main difference comes to my mind when comparing.

Technology has improved in many aspects of film making. Computer graphics, VFX, computerized editing, high definition in picture quality, sound engineering, makeups, and many other improvements also. Where in old movies only camera tricks is mostly used.
Old movies mostly have a strong and neat storylines. A very well written screenplay which attached with the plot line. But in present, many movies are made without any strong plot or screenplay. Hence, producers and directors made same kind of films. Lengthy dialogues can be seen in old movies but current generation prefer to watch more acting rather than lengthy, poetic or strong meaning conversation.
