MOVIES INFLUENCING THE SOCIETY


Movies apart from merely providing entertainment, plays a very important part in bringing about changes in the society. Films first began just for the entertainment of the public, to provide them with some distractions from their hectic schedule of work. But over the period of time, they not only provide entertainment but also information. Movies, are becoming entertaining news channels. There are so many things people can learn from movies now, be it good or bad things depending on what is being shown and how the information is perceived. For instance, there are scenes in movies where they show new tricks for stealing, hacking etc., from this the people can learn how to steal with out being caught or they can learn how to be more careful. 
Every movie has something different to tell than the before. The difference between news and movie is that in movies the news is acted to be entertaining as well as informative. With the stardom the actors have got, whatever they do becomes a trend among the youth and this helps in giving good changes to the society. 
When a star says something his followers accept it without any further thought, so if the stars convey some good messages in the movies, it is surely going to be followed and it would bring prosperity.
Movies like Padman,has talked about issues very important to the society that has been ignored for ages and the movie has also brought awareness about menstrual hygiene and solutions to problems faced regarding it. There are also many other movies that has proved that films are not mere entertainment but also has information and a responsibility to bring a reform to the society.

ONE ACT MOVIE This article is going to be about my experience on watching a movie that had all that a movie should have- hero, heroine, villain,story, jokes, emotions, dialogues, but with something really unique, the whole movie had only one person in it! The movie is " Otha Serupu Size 7 ".The entire two hours of the movie had only the actor Partibhan on screen and I could only hear the voices of the other characters ! How unique is that !I seriously did not even imagine such a thing would be possible. How could only one person act an entire movie by himself  ?
