WHY DO WE NEED TO WATCH MOVIES?
WHY DO WE NEED TO WATCH MOVIES?

The American author Kurt Vonnegut once wrote , "Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion . I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning do to do afterward ".
According to some scientist laughter can boost our immune system and it also decreases the production of those hormones that are associated with stress. This can be done through comedy movies. A study shows that laughing at the film shown has helped in lowering blood pressure and reducing stress. Watching a traumatic or sad films increases pain tolerance. Re watching a movie is relaxing because our brains find them easy to process. Movies have a major effect on real life and maybe we don't realise that fact. There are many inspiring movies which boosts self confidence in one who watches it. Those movies makes a person better and also have some effect in self development. Some Bollywood movies like Neerja, Dangal etc., inspires to be brave and confident. Dangal movie teaches that hard work never fails and Neerja movie inspires a viewer to be brave enough and also humanity.

Movies makes us smarter. Although it depends on which film we watch. But a good documentary or an intelligent historical drama can educate us on important issues and events in a much more interesting and enjoyable way than a dry old text book. It is often said that pictures get easily stored in our brains than text. Thus watching a historical movie can easily get stored in our brains than studying it from books. Watching films can change our perspective on the people and issues we encounter every day, as well as increasing our understanding and sensitivity to people and issues in places we may never visit. Thus, if we look at it there are many positive effects on watching movies and it will effect as positively only if we choose to watch a right movie.
