MOVIES VS REALITY
I have wondered many times if what they show in movies are real. Do they show what is happening in the lives of common people or are people getting inspired by watching the movies and incorporate it in their lives? Both seems to be true. I feel both these options take an equal share. There are films being made with the tagline " Inspired by true incidents " and there are news about crimes that are very familiar to those shown in films.
But, I believe there is some amount of exaggeration in movies from the reality. For instance, the movie scenes about college were shown to be a very happy period with no worries, exam stress, projects, deadlines etc. but, in real it is completely opposite. There are internals in college, there are attendance problem, deadlines and projects. College is equally hectic as school. This contrasting exaggeration shown in movies has become really disappointing due to reality not matching the expectations. This is exactly what movies have done, they create a lot of expectations for the youngsters and when the expectations are not matched in reality, there is a huge disappointment that waits. Hence, we should leave the movies only for watching and not believe in them and follow them blindly.
