WATCHING CINEMA IMPACT TO CHILDREN

WATCHING CINEMA IMPACT TO CHILDREN Watching movies has known to have both positive as well as negative impact on a child’s mind as well on his overall development. Movies with social message or pure fun can be worth watching but movies with too much of violence and mean messages are of no good to children.Recently in a survey that was been conducted on the American children between the age group 4 to 15 years, it was observed that there has been an overwhelming influence of such mentioned medias especially the movies on a child's overall development. The impact of movies on children within this age group has been affecting a child's health, well being and his mind. The affect of movies on each and every child differed in a way. MOVIE CLOSE TO MY HEART

Image
❤MOVIE CLOSE TO MY HEART❤                    VARANAM AYIRAM     How can I express my feelings for this movie in words!! Because this is a very special movie which hit my heart so deep. First and foremost reason for loving this movie is, the most talented and handsome young man Surya. He played a dual role in this movie. He lived every character so that it came out so beautifully.  The story starts with the father role. It starts with a good song. He fell in love with a girl and married her. The love between them was so pure, we could feel it in their eyes. They gave birth to a son and a daughter . The son was Surya.  The Father guided him in each and everything. He had been a good friend to him. The father-son relationship in the film was potrayed wonderfully. He also  gave love advices to his son. Surya's  reactions in love scenes in train will be heartmelting. He plays guitar. Unfortu...

PORTRAYAL OF WOMEN IN FILM

Image
PORTRAYAL  OF WOMEN IN FILM Although our heroines have come into their own in contemporary cinema, many films  even today are made from the point of view of a male gaze. We analyse the changing portrayal of women in the movies In her book  Superwomen: Gender, Power, and Representation  author Carolyn Cocca asks, ‘If we never see a women portrayed as a leader, a mentor, a professional; if we see women only as interested in their own looks and in romance, in need of rescue, and emotional, and if we never see women as heroes, what happens to our imagination for ourselves and our world? After more than a 100 years since the birth of the Indian film industry, these are questions that apply as much to Hindi cinema as to Hollywood. Certainly, the portrayal of women in Hindi cinema has come a long way from the early days when m...

TWISTY AND CRISPY CLIMAX

Image
TWISTY AND CRISPY CLIMAX            Final touch should be best, either it is for a meal or a movie. Climax plays a major role because people tend to expect more from it . Mostly climax should have a twist like the villain should be a person whom we never thought of being a villain, the one who act like a good person and finally reveals his true colours. Some people expect only happy endings in movies. They will not be satisfied with movies  in which the lead actor and actress get separated .  People always enjoy the last part whether it is a dessert or climax. Some movies have a good story line in the first half but flops in the second half having a bad ending. Some movies will attract people with short and crisp climax. Most climax scenes will be a family getting together after many misunderstandings or a couple who get married to each other Tackling all the problems against them.  Not only the beginni...

ART FILM

ART FILM AN ART FILM IS TYPICALLY A SERIOUS ,INDEPENDENT FILM AIMED AT A NICHE MARKET RATHER THAN MASS MARKET AUDIENCE. IT IS INTENDED TO BE A SERIOUS, ARTIST WORK , OFTEN EXPERIMENTAL NOT DESIGNED FOR MASS APPEAL, MADE PRIMARILY FOR AESTHETIC REASON RATHER THAN COMMERCIAL PROFIT, AND CONTAINS HIGHER SYMBOLIC CONTENT. FOR ME ART FILM IS BETTER THAN NORMAL FILM IF WE STARTED TO WATCH ART FILM YOU WILL HATE TO WATCH NORMAL FILM BECAUSE ART FILM HAS SO MANY LOGIC WHICH IS IMPORTANT AND SHOWS THE REALITY OF WORLD . IN NORMAL FILM IS FULL OF FAKE . THERE ID SO MANY VALUES IN THE ART FILM. An  art film  is typically a serious, independent  film , aimed at a niche market rather than a mass market audience. ...  Art film  producers usually present their  films  at special theate...

UNREALISTIC SCENES IN MOVIES

Image
UNREALISTIC SCENES IN MOVIES         Cinema tries to include as many as elements in order to impress people in every possible way . In that way, many unrealistic scenes are added to exaggerate things and fascinate people. Creativity of directors is appreciable but upto a level. They must also consider the impacts in watching that film. People may try those in real life, they may believe things without knowing the truth behind that. It makes people blind. Some scenes are graohically made. In "Endhiran" movie , most of the scenes are graphically made because they are not possible in real life.  Some scenes like standing in front of the train and making it stop by showing hand, jumping from one building to another, jumping from mountain and being alive, bringing fire in cigarette without using match stick or lighter are unbearable. Movies should be lively and have scenes that are possible in real life.           ...

PROS AND CONS OF CINEMA

Image
ðŸŽ¬PROS AND CONS OF CINEMA 🎦        Each and everything in life has its pros and cons, cinema too. But unfortunately cinema has less of merits. Cinema can be motivational, sentimental, awareness creator etc. Each movie should have a separate message to be conveyed. Some movies are a must watch movies because they educate us. For example, in "Aruvi" movie, (tamil) the problems and sufferings faced by a young girl who unknowingly got a dreadful disease AIDS was conveyed . It made people realize the pain of such patients.  People get to know things clearly when it is visually conveyed. But watching some movies are just waste of time. Because they lack a good message to be conveyed, lack of story line etc. Some movies spoil youngsters life. Since they show the hero getting addicted to alcohol , youngsters are tempted to do the same . Dressing sense of actresses affect the inner mind of young girl children . Love with a opposite gender is a beauti...
ONE ACT MOVIE This article is going to be about my experience on watching a movie that had all that a movie should have- hero, heroine, villain, story, jokes, emotions, dialogues, but with something really unique, the whole movie had only one person in it! The movie is " Otha Serupu Size 7 ".The entire two hours of the movie had only the actor Partibhan on screen and I could only hear the voices of the other characters ! How unique is that !I seriously did not even imagine such a thing would be possible. How could only one person act an entire movie by himself  ? It was not like a story telling, it was a real movie.  I do not like reading reviews before watching the movie, so I had no idea about the movie before I saw it and I was awestruck on watching  the movie with only one actor.  It was indeed good, there were unexpected twists in the story, a father's love, and witty humor. I must admit I was a little bored on watching him on screen for the whol...

PORTRAYAL OF FRIENDSHIP

Image
👭POTRAYAL OF FRIENDSHIP👬          Friendship is something special in life and in cinema too. No movie is directed without a best friend role in it. It can either be for a hero or heroine. It can be of any gender. Friendship is beautifully potrayed in cinema. Mostly childhood friendship of the lead actor will be shown as a flashback till present . He/she who plays the best friend role will be well noted and admired by people. It makes people recollect their wonderful memories with their friends. The best friend will be potrayed as such : helping his friend (the lead actor) in his love  , motivating him towards good ,  rescuing his friend from bad people etc. He will be considered as one among the family. People mostly hang out with their friends gang for a movie. So it will be lively and happy if this type of friend character is added in movies. There are some films that are specially made to bring out the essence of friendship l...

PERIOD MOVIES Period movies are those that represent the happenings of the past. They may be fictional or non fictional. I am a fan of historical period movies. The stories, costumes, language, are all entirely different from the movies set in the present. These movies show to us the life during the times we have not lived in.  Period films inform us about the culture of our ancestors, their ideas and traditions. If many of us are aware of the royal costumes, wars, the elaborate meals, the credit goes to period movies. Many movies  on wars, freedom fighters, kings and queens have been made for us to know how India has been in the past. We can also know a lot about the language that was used during those times and how much it has changed as the time has passed.Even as period films are made from reading epics and other novels written by some great authors, they create a bigger impact on us, as we are visualizing it.We see the actors as the characters and not as thems...

MOVIES INFLUENCING THE SOCIETY Movies apart from merely providing entertainment, plays a very important part in bringing about changes in the society. Films first began just for the entertainment of the public, to provide them with some distractions from their hectic schedule of work. But over the period of time, they not only provide entertainment but also information. Movies, are becoming entertaining news channels. There are so many things people can learn from movies now, be it good or bad things depending on what is being shown and how the information is perceived. For instance, there are scenes in movies where they show new tricks for stealing, hacking etc., from this the people can learn how to steal with out being caught or they can learn how to be more careful.  Every movie has something different to tell than the before. The difference between news and movie is that in movies the news is acted to be entertaining as well as informative. With the stardom the act...

REEL VS REAL HEROES  In a film a hero sings, dances, fights, and does any job given to him. But are they the real heroes ? I don't think so. The heroes act in the roles given to him by the director. Also, as a matter of fact, the actual singing and fighting are also not done by him. There is a playback singer to sing the songs, and there is a dupe who fights for the hero. But, the overall credit goes to the hero of the film because he is the one we see on screen and admire. It is not bad to have the movie heroes as an inspiration as they also work hard to get recognition in their field of work but, we need to know that they are not the actual heroes who would come and stand up for us in times of need. Just because he is on screen portrayed a particular way he need not necessarily be a very great human being.  Heroes bring about great changes in the societies, punish bad people, reforms the people and protects them, but they do all this behind the cameras, the villains, ...

HEROINE ROLE IN MOVIES Every movie that releases  has a hero, heroine, villain, comedian and other characters. But the hero of the movie has the utmost importance. The hero is the center of attraction of the entire film and the story revolves around him and the heroine is used just as a distraction for the hero. This is a worrying reality. In most of the films, the heroine is the love interest of the hero, who first disagrees with the hero and then loves him, dances for a duet and then watches the hero fight the villain and save her. Women are largely portrayed to be weak and are only present to love the hero. Their contribution to the film is restricted to a glamours dance.  Now a days, there are movies coming with women oriented scripts, but they are comparatively really less than the other genres. The women oriented movies  talk about the societal problems faced by women and contains certain messages for the audience, but entertainment movies with hero...

MY FAVORITE- OLD MOVIES  It might be surprising, but I would confidently say that I love old movies than the new movies releasing now a days.  To be specific, I love the movies of the 1980's and 90's. It is my personal opinion to call the movies of those times the best of all the movies I have seen. Movies like, 'Kuch kuch hota hai',' Mouna raagam', 'Punagai mannan' are few of my favorites from that time. I believe, those movies had a unique charm and graze that could easily attract the audience to watch them. The movies had very good stories in them and I am in particular, a fan of the songs of the movies. There are hundreds of songs that I remember with amazing lyrics, tune, and picturizations.  It was surely because of my mother that I experienced these visual treats.I watched most of the old movies during the 10th and 12th board examination study holidays ! Our school used to give the whole of February as study holidays and I used to watch ...
